Philips Home Access Limited Warranty
Issued by Conex and its U.S. Distributor Idlespace Tech
1. Warranty Provider
This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by Conex, the original manufacturer of Philips Home Access products (“Products”), and in the United States, by Idlespace Tech or its affiliated North American entities (collectively referred to as the “Warrantor”).
All warranty services under this Warranty shall be performed by Conex, Idlespace Tech, or their authorized distributors and representatives.
2. Warranty Coverage and Duration
This Warranty applies to the original consumer purchaser (“Original User”) of the Product, provided the Product remains installed at the original residential premises. This Warranty is non-transferable, except where otherwise required by law.

If the serial number indicates the Product is outside the warranty period, the purchaser must provide valid proof of purchase to establish eligibility.
3. Scope of Warranty Coverage
If a Product is determined to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal residential use and within the applicable warranty period:
- The Warrantor or its authorized distributor will, at its sole discretion, provide troubleshooting support, replace the defective Product, or supply replacement parts.
- If the original Product or part is no longer available, the Warrantor reserves the right to substitute a comparable product of equal or greater value.
4. Exclusions from Coverage
This Warranty applies only when the Product is properly installed and used in accordance with local codes, printed instructions, and accepted industry practices.
This Warranty does not cover the following:
- Improper installation, misuse, abuse, or failure to follow product instructions
- Modification, alteration, servicing, or repair by unauthorized persons
- Damage from shipping to or from unauthorized service locations
- Physical abuse or cosmetic damage including scratches, abrasions, tarnishing, flaking, or discoloration
- Damage caused by paints, solvents, or chemicals
- Environmental factors including fire, flood, natural disasters, or other Acts of God
- Products not originally manufactured by Conex
- Products transferred or resold to a new owner
5. Warranty Claims Procedure
To initiate a warranty claim, the Original User must email the following to:

- Clear photos of the front and back of the defective Product
- Valid proof of purchase
- Contact phone number
- Description of the issue and estimated age of the lock
6. Return & Replacement Policy
- The Warrantor will provide a replacement Product or component free of charge and cover standard ground shipping costs for approved returns.
- Expedited shipping is available at the purchaser’s request and expense.
- If the Product is not covered under warranty, the Warrantor will provide an estimate and request written approval before proceeding with repair or replacement.
- The Warrantor is not responsible for costs related to removal, reinstallation, or repairs by unauthorized parties.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIODS SET FORTH ABOVE.
THE WARRANTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR LOSS OF TIME.
